How having a minimalist house has helped me save money and feel happy with Jose de Minidideco

Hello! My name is Jose and I'm from Uruguay.. I am from that small and beautiful country between Argentina and Brazil.

I have an account Instagram where I share my passion for decoration and where I show some ideas that I can think of to decorate my house. My house is my experimental workshop, where a large part of my decorations are taken from old objects. Restoring furniture is my hobby and my lifestyle.

Here are a few things from my Instagram board: @MINIDIDECO

Beginnings in Minimalism

When I started in minimalism I realized that what surrounds us is more than enough to make our goals come true (In my case it felt that way) without spending a lot of money and at the same time feeling happy to be able to fulfill our dreams with what is available. Thus began my story with minimalism.

For example, I used to spend hours thinking about everything that was missing in my house, about what I had to buy the following month and I forgot about what existed. That feeling of scarcity prevented me from seeing the power that existed in my home, which as a consequence led me to accumulation.

encourage me to live a life with less things And that's where I started to see changes.

It all started with an inner process of organization of ideas, thoughts and objects.

That internal organization was also reflected on the outside and ideas as simple as "Less is More" were like guiding threads in this transformation.

From pose and prove to myself that I didn't need so many things to feel good I began to take small steps in other areas of my life; the closet, the way I shop, the expenses, the things I keep and everything that surrounds me.

My house is simple and that makes me happy

I can say that the house I live in makes me feel very happy and an important aspect in this regard is that the way I manage my home saves me a lot of money that I can invest in other things.

Now I bet on recycling, I love restoring furniture, I fix what breaks and I support the local market when i need anything I also like to go from time to time to thrift shopping where I get inspired and by the way give a second chance to the things that someone else has left behind.

Now everything that accompanies me is what truly represents meI don't keep more objects just in case, what I have in my home is what makes me happy.

Maybe it was that I changed the perspective. The objects stopped being objects to become special details. Stop using things to start enjoying them ylthe free spaces of the house they do not feel empty but rather They are corners that give me peace.

And I hope to continue improving in this aspect, I hope that my little house continues to be my source of inspiration. and I hope this post has served to inspire and encourage you to experiment with what you have at hand. Greetings from my little corner.
